Sweden  1-0 South Korea

Sweden vs South Korea kicked off Matchday 5 and finished the fist games for Group F. This is Sweden's first World Cup Appearance in 12 years, and the Swedes have not been dissapointed as they grasped the 3 points with a VAR-influenced penalty.

For not the first time in this World Cup, there has been another penalty that has come from the influence of VAR. This had come from Kim Min-Woo fouling Claesson in the box, in which we had to wait for a minute the the decision to be made.

The game started with South Korea having a sort of unexpected possession, with them playing some attacking football. However, Sweden were then able to press more with of course lead onto the penalty, which was coolly converted by Sweden's captain, Granqvist.

Sweden's striker Marcus Berg had a number of chances, but he failed to take his chances. This could threaten his place in the starting XI, as the chances he had were relatively easy.

Manchester United Centre Back Victor Lindelof was not featured in the starting XI or the bench, as he was taking ill in the night.

Tottenham Hotspur superstar Heung Min Son had a very underwhelming match, which him unable to take the limited chances he had from a poor South Korean side.

Overall, South Korea were ultimately outplayed by an average Sweden side, who were unable to take the majority of their chances when they should have.
