Premier League- Matchweek 4- Burnley vs Manchester United

Manchester United recovered from back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Spurs to beat Burnley despite a Paul Pogba missed penalty and Marcus Rashford being sent off.

Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku scored twice in the first half as the Red Devils were left barely under-threat.

After Aaron Lennon fouled Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba had the chance to increase United's lead partway through the second half but saw his penalty saved by former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Two minutes later, United were down to 10 men when Rashford was sent off for violent conduct, after leaning into Burnley defender Phil Bardsley with his head.

That made the last 15 minutes tense to say the least for Jose Mourinho's side, but the Clarets were unable to find a way through and make their numerical advantage count.
United’s victory moved them up to 10thin the league, and level on points with 7thplaced Everton
